9.3.3(c) Switch Facility (SF1 and SF2)
An ‘SF’ bit may be programmed to simulate any one of the facilities provided by the
Event Timetable.
See also 9.3.4(9.3.4(c)).
9.3.3(d) Solar Switch Override (SO)
An ‘SO’ bit may be programmed to override the Signal Dimming facility and switch
the signals to the BRIGHT condition.
See also 9.3.4(9.3.4(o)).
9.3.3(e) CLF Group Synchronisation (SG)
An ‘SG’ bit may be programmed to reset the current CLF plan and cycle time to the
start of the first group, i.e. Group O.
The synchronisation code is transmitted four times at 0101 levels, each level of 1
second duration.
The reset is actioned within 300 ms of the leading edge of the second ‘1’ bit.
See also 9.3.4(9.3.4(e)).
9.3.3(f) Lamps On/Off (LO)
If part-time mode is configured it may be programmed to be introduced by the
presence of an ‘LO’ bit. The ‘LO’ bit has to be present for at least 10 seconds to
introduce Part-time mode and absent for at least 10 seconds to delete it (i.e. re-
introduce normal signal operation).
Part time may be either signals off or, for export orders, signals flashing.
See also 9.3.4(9.3.4(k)).
9.3.3(g) Local Link Inhibit (LL)
If a local link to an adjacent controller is configured an ‘LL’ bit may be programmed to
override the link. Normally the link would then be operated by separate control bits
from the computer.
9.3.3(h) Fall Back Mode (FM)
Unless the customer specifies the action of the FM bit, it will be programmed to cause
the controller to disable CLF mode whilst the FM bit is true/active. Thus, if higher
modes are not requested, the controller will work in the next mode below C.L.F. in the
priority table, normally V.A. or F.T.
