If the detector is active for greater than 60 minutes.
If the detector is inactive for greater than 2 hours.
Note that in Group 1 during time set D, the value is 255, this disables the DFM timer.
15.9.2 Switched DFM
It is possible for a detector or pedestrian push-button to have switched DFM, i.e. at
certain times of day the DFM facility is removed.
To achieve this, two inputs are required for each detector or pedestrian push-button
requiring the switched DFM.
One input has DFM associated with it and the other one does not. The inputs are then
switched inactive by timetable settings such that only one input is operational at any
time of day.
Special Conditioning Software is necessary to prevent the inactive inputs DFM
function from timing off. See section 12.3.
This facility is implemented in firmware for later issues of PB321 firmware. See Option
2 Section 15.9.1.
15.9.3 Cabinet Alarm From Special Conditioning
The Cabinet Alarm LED can be controlled from Special Conditioning. The Special
Conditioning output is OR-ed with the normal DFM output, so either active output
will light the led. If the Cabinet Alarm flashes due to a red lamp failure report from an
LMU, then the outputs from Special Conditioning and the normal DFM are ignored.
15.9.4 Fixed I/O for specific contracts
Certain contracts require that the Controller Inputs and Outputs be fixed for all
Controllers. This is achieved by entering dummy inputs/outputs at the time of
configuration.
