NB Care must be taken when using/testing independent intergreens. The Extend All

Red ceases when the gaining stage comes to fruition (i.e. when all fixed phases

are at right of way). Therefore the following situation is possible; if the

intergreens to all fixed phases are independent and it is the intergreen to a non-

fixed phase to which the intergreen extensions apply, then as the intergreens to

all the fixed phases are not held by the extensions, they will gain right of way

after their normal intergreens and the gaining stage will come to fruition, which

will then terminate the intergreen extension for the non fixed phase. This may

mean that the intergreen extension for the non-fixed phase is terminated

prematurely, i.e. before the Max All Red timer or the loss of the extension

input would have terminated it.

Each stream’s all red extension time may be accessed using the handset command:

REX followed by the stream number (e.g. REX1).

Each stream’s all red maximum time may be accessed using the handset command:

RMX followed by the stream number (e.g. RMX2).
