supplementary extension timer expires. The extension period is measured from the

stage change point. Each streams extension can be accessed by using the handset

command:

SIE followed by the stream number (e.g. SIE2). Data is in the range 0 to 31.8 secs. in

0.2 second steps.

2.6.8 LMU Maximum All Red

There is an LMU maximum all red facility available for each stream. If an LMU

indicates a second red lamp failure pending (see section 19.2) then the all red period of

the intergreens on the configured stage to stage movements will be held until the LMU

maximum all red timer expires. The maximum period is measured from the stage

change point. Each stream’s maximum can be accessed by using the handset command:

LMX followed by the stream number (e.g. LMX 0) Data is in the range 0 to 255 secs.

in 1 second steps.

2.6.9 SDE/SA

If a phase with SDE/SA is requesting extra clearance and so increasing the time in its

associated intergreen timer, it is possible to specify at configuration which delay timers

(for phases gaining ROW) are to also be increased. In this way it is possible to specify

delay timers just for the phases appearing in a particular stream, whilst not increasing

those in other streams.

2.6.10 Arterial Reversion

There is an Arterial Reversion facility for each stream. If there is no demand or

extension present for any phase in the stream, and no demand for any stage in the

stream, then an Arterial demand for a phase or stage in the stream will be inserted, if

specified in configuration.
