it would be outputting and how many seconds have elapsed within this group if this
plan had been in continuous operation since 2.00 a.m. Having done these calculations
(i.e. current group has been determined and the number of seconds remaining in
current group have been calculated) the plan change can occur.
9.9.8(d)
1) Due to ‘CCP’ Handset Command
Similar actions occur when the operator decides to restore cableless linking
operation to real time clock via ‘CCP’ handset command.
In the normal CLF system, the time switch table is analysed to see what plan
should be outputting. A calculation is done to see what group within this plan
should be operating and how many seconds have elapsed within this group, has
the plan been continuously operating since, the start time specified for this plan,
in the time switch table. Having done these calculations, (i.e. current plan,
current group and seconds remaining in current group) the plan change can
occur.
The Alternative CLF system operates like the normal CLF system but in the
Alternative CLF system, having calculated what the current plan should be, the
current group is calculated as the group that should be outputting had this plan
been in continuous operation since 2.00 a.m. that morning. (Thus 2.00 a.m. is
used as the plan start time rather than the start time specified in the time switch
table).
2) Due to Real Time Clock Sync (Refer to 9.3.3(k))
Actions as for (1) above.
3) Due to Real Time Clock Load (Refer to 9.3.3(j))
Actions as for (1) above.
4) Due to Handset Clock Load (CKL = 1)
Actions as for (1) above.
9.9.8(e) Method of Plan Introduction
Certain contracts require that, when using the alternative method of Plan Introduction
mentioned above, the controller must synchronise with the Plan quickly.
To achieve this, the following constraints are placed on the CLF facility:
1. The Stage movement restraints table used by CLF should not have purely
prohibited moves or ignore moves configured. They should either be allowed
moves or if this is not acceptable for safety reasons, then alternative moves
