S = Single conductor out and return

P = Parallel conductors out and return

Assumes 1mm

cable.

NB: The following tables for distances assume the use of 1mm

cable with the detector

current specified. Use of larger cable will increase the length of run possible as

will use of detectors with a lower operating current. Recalculate any values as

required on a pro-rata basis.

The distances quoted are the ‘Maximum distance from the controller’.
