T400 Controller Facilities Manual
667/EB/20200/000 Page 25-24 Issue 9
(C7) RLM Phase Delay Times (PROM item - RLMBUV & RAM item - RLMTME)
This 16 byte array contains the RLM delay time, in seconds, for each phase. The delay
is alterable via the handset, and is in addition to any delay specified in the RLM delay
offset, item C2. The handset range is configurable via item C8.
The delay time is only applied if RLM delays are enabled on this stage-stage move (see
LMUMOV item C12).
(C8) RLM Delay Limits (PROM item - RLMTMERNG)
This word holds the low and high range limit on the RLM delay times, used to check
that new times entered from the handset are within the allowed limits. The least
significant byte of the word holds the high limit and the most significant byte of the
word holds the low limit. If the low limit is set above the high limit then this stops the
configured RLM delay times being changed via the handset.
(C9) Number of Integral RLM Groups (PROM item - INTRLM_GROUPS_CFG)
This byte holds the number of integral RLM groups configured. The value should be
set to 0 when the free-standing RLM unit is used. When the integral RLM unit is used,
the value should be set in the range 1 to 8 as appropriate.
(C10) Enhanced RLM Facilities Table Bit (PROM item - ENHANCED_RLM)
The enhanced RLM facility is disabled unless bit 0 of this byte is set in the facilities
table.
When the facilities table bit is not set, the T400 operates to the original RLM method.
In this case, RLF1 and RLF2 can still be configured to come from the integral RLM
unit if required.
(C11) Integral RLM Facilities Table Bit (PROM item - OTUFAC)
Bit 1 of OTUFAC in the facilities table selects between the free-standing RLM unit and
the integral RLM unit. When the bit is a zero, the free-standing unit is assumed and the
config items LMU1ST and LMU2ND should be set to the RLF1 and RLF2 input lines.
When the bit is a one, the integral unit is assumed and the RLF1 and RLF2 signals are
taken from the integral RLM shared RAM. In this case, item C9 should be set to the
number of RLM groups configured.
Note: Bit 0 of OTUFAC indicates if an integral OTU/LMU is fitted. For integral RLM,
both bit 0 and bit 1 of OTUFAC should be set.
