(C12) LMU Moves Array (PROM item - LMUMOV)

This is an existing config PROM item which is used by both the original RLM facility

and enhanced RLM operation. It comprises a 16 word array and defines for each stage

to stage move whether the RLM delays are to be applied or not.

25.4.6 Configuration Considerations

25.4.6(a) All-red Stages

When stage to stage moves are made via an intermediate all-red stage, the RLM phase

offset delays will only be applied on the basis of the phase changes involved on the

move from the all-red stage to the target stage.

The all-red stage should include a dummy phase and then any required RLM delay time

offsets should be configured on changes between the dummy phase and the phases

appearing in the target stage.

25.4.6(b) Intermediate Stages

When stage to stage moves are made via an intermediate stage, the same

considerations apply as for the all-red stage. If no phases (either real phases or dummy

phases) are losing right-of-way on the change from the intermediate stage to the target

stage, then no RLM offset delays will be applied. To avoid this, a dummy phase should

be configured in the intermediate stage.
