Replace Hard Drive
Launches a guided procedure to make replacement of a CLIM hard disk drive more automated.
This guided procedure can also be launched through the Replace action on the (CLIM) Hard Disk
object, although CLIM subcomponents, such as the Hard Disk object will not be displayed by OSM
if SNMP is not available.
Restore CLIM Configuration
Restores the CLIM configuration from a previously saved file at a user-specified or default location.
Restore Default Storage Path Configuration
Valid for Storage CLIM only. OSM issues a SPI command to the storage subsystem to restore the
active paths of all storage devices using the CLIM to their default configurations.
ROM Update
Updates the ROM firmware. Upon completion, OSM offers to reboot the CLIM, in order for the
CLIM to start using the updated firmware.
Set UID LED State
Turns the Unit Identification LED on or off to aid in the physical identification of a CLIM by means
of that blue light on the front or back of the CLIM.
Show CLIM/Key Manager Registration Information
This action, applicable only for CLIMs that have been registered through the Register CLIMs with
Key Managers guided procedure, displays information concerning the registration of the CLIM
with the Key Manager or Key Manager Cluster, including:
Key Manager Cluster configuration, including tier assignment and IP addresses.
Local CA certificate that signed the Server certificate.
Client Certificate information.
CLIM/Key Manager user name.
Start
OSM issues a SPI command to CIPMAN equivalent to SCF START CLIM.
Stop
Encompasses both the SCF STOP and ABORT commands. OSM issues a SPI command to CIPMAN
equivalent to SCF STOP CLIM. If this fails because there are open sockets and you tell OSM to
proceed any way, OSM issues a SPI command to CIPMAN equivalent to SCF ABORT CLIM,
FORCED.
Stop Storage Paths
Valid for Storage CLIM only. Stops all storage paths from the CLIM.
Switch Storage Paths Away
Valid for Storage CLIM only. OSM issues a SPI command to the storage subsystem to switch the
active paths of all storage devices using the CLIM away from the CLIM.
CLIMs
In the OSM Service Connection, CLIMs is a collection object that contains all CLIM (CLuster I/O
Module) devices configured on a NonStop BladeSystem or supported NonStop NS-series system.
