Using the Select the Local CA Dialog Box

NOTE: The Select Local CA dialog box is displayed twice during the guided procedure if you

choose to have your Client Certificates automatically created. To view the appropriate help topic

when clicking the Help button on that dialog box:

• If the text at the top of the dialog box is as pictured below, see Selecting the Local CA that

Signed the Server Certificate.

• If the text at the top of the dialog box is as pictured below, see Creating Client Certificate

Automatically for the appropriate help topic.

Selecting the Local CA that Signed the Server Certificate

After successfully creating the CLIM group, username, and password, the next step is to select the

Local CA that was used to sign the Key Manager Server certificate for SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

The Select Local CA dialog box displays a list of all Local CAs stored on the Key Manager cluster.

From this list, you must select the Local CA that was used to sign the Key Manager Server certificate

for SSL. Once selected, the Continue button becomes active. If no Local CAs are available or an

error occurred while obtaining the list, an error message is displayed and the Continue button

remains inactive.
