Physical Location
The values displayed by these attributes are assigned through the Set Physical Location action.
A user-defined name assigned to identify the rack in which the Blade Element
is located.
Rack Name
A number (from 1 to 42) assigned to describe the location of the Blade
Element within the rack.
Rack Offset
An optional text string assigned to further identify the physical location of
the Blade Element.
This attribute is displayed only if a value is specified using the Set Physical
Location action.
Locator
For DC-powered Telco systems only.
Displays the system alarm panel (SAP) identifier for this hardware resource,
as specified through the Alarm Panel Identifier option within the Set Physical
Alarm Panel Identifier
Location action. This attribute is displayed only if a value is specied through
the action.
Actions
Check If Safe to Replace
Available for NonStop NS14000 series and NS16000 series servers only, this action indicates
whether connectivity to the logical processor will be lost if the Blade Element is brought down or
replaced.
Check Reintegration Status
Available for NonStop NS14000 series and NS16000 series servers only, this action checks to
see whether or not the processor elements on this blade element are integrated to their corresponding
logical processors. The action passes only if all PEs are reintegrated. Also, the action fails if the
blade element is currently the source of reintegration for another blade element in the complex.
Clear Forward Progress Log
Clears the Forward Progress Log (FPL), which is more detailed than the System Event Log.
Disable Blade Element Reintegration
Available for NonStop NS14000 series and NS16000 series servers only, this action disables
automatic reintegration of the Blade Element for 60 minutes.
