Hard Disk (CLIM)

A subcomponent of the CLIM. For G2 and G5 CLIMs, there is only one hard disk object, located

in Bay 1. For G6 and Gen8 CLIMs, there are two hard disks, located in Bay 1 and Bay 2.

Location in OSM Tree: System > CLIMs > CLIM > Hard Disk

Firmware

The version of the firmware running on the CLIM hard disk.

Example: HPD5

Firmware Version

Physical

The model number of the CLIM hard disk that was assigned in manufacturing.Model

The serial number of the CLIM hard disk.Serial Number

Logical

The state of the CLIM hard disk as known to the operating system on the

server. Possible values include: OK, Warning, Fault, Off Duty, Not Installed.

Replace

Launches a guided procedure to make replacement of a CLIM hard disk drive more automated. If

SNMP is not available and Hard Disk object is not displayed in the OSM Service Connection, the

same guided procedure can be launched through the Replace Hard Drive on the CLIM object.

InfiniBand HCA Card (CLIM)

A subcomponent of the CLIM object for G6 CLIMs only.

Location in OSM Tree: System > CLIMs > CLIM > Infiniband HCA
