Prerequisites
z The SISTORE MX NVS software has been started.

z You have the right user management.
1. Select the User management tab.
2. Click the Password expires after radio button (
397Hsee 1193HFig. 831194H, page 1195H99).
3. Enter a value in the day(s) field to indicate how many days the password is to
be valid.
4. Click Apply.
Î The setting will be saved.
Extending the validity period of a password
Prerequisites
z The SISTORE MX NVS software has been started.

z The SISTORE MX NVS software is in configuration mode.

z You have the right user management.
1. Select the User management tab.
2. Click Expiration renewal (
399Hsee 1200HFig. 831201H, page 1202H99).
3. Click Apply.
Î The validity of the password will be extended by the number of days specified
in the day(s) text field. The date from which the extension is calculated is the
current one.
Removing the restriction of validity of a password
Prerequisites
z The SISTORE MX NVS software has been started.

1. Select the User management tab.
2. Click the Password never expires radio button (
