13 Configuring user and access management
13.1 General information on user management
13.1.1 User groups
There are four user groups:
z Administrator: has all rights
z Installer: has all rights except the administration right
z User administrator: has the rights user management, database management
and delete. The rights of the user group User can also be assigned.
z User: can have the rights start/stop, remote control, remote access,
playback, audio playback, export and cash dispenser search if they have
been assigned.
NOTE:
Assign the user group Administrator only to users who install complete systems (such as system
administrators).
For security reasons, assign all other users only the user group and rights they actually need. Then
input windows that are not needed will not be shown.
Assignment of rights to user groups
The following table gives information on the user groups and the assignment of
rights to these groups.
