19.3 Configuring forced logout
If one of two chip cards is removed from a card reader connected to SISTORE MX,
the system will force a logout. In order to log in again, both chip cards must be
inserted into the readers again.
Note
If no delay has been configured, the logout will be forced the moment a chip card is removed from a
reader.
If a delay has been configured, the logout will be forced after the set period of time.
Setting a delay time for forced logout
Prerequisites:
z 2 chip card readers are connected to SISTORE MX and recognized by the
operating system.
z The SISTORE MX NVS application software has been started.

z The SISTORE MX NVS application software is in configuration mode. See
473HSection "1495HOpening configuration mode", page 1496H18.
z The SISTORE MX NVS application software is in banking mode.

1. Select the
Banking tab.
2. Mark the checkbox
Forced logout (see 1499HFig. 135).
3. Set the time after which the logout is to be forced.
4. Click
Apply.
Î The settings will be saved.
Î The logout will be forced after the set period of time.
