This chapter describes how to configure an ET 200S for the IM 151-7 CPU with

STEP 7.

Resetting the memory of the IM 151-7 CPU

In certain situations you must reset the memory of the IM 151-7 CPU. This chapter

describes these circumstances and the procedure for resetting the memory of the

CPU component.

Diagnostic options

The ET 200S distributed I/O system is designed to make handling and

commissioning as simple as possible. If a fault or an error should occur in spite of

this, you can analyze it using the LEDs, the slave diagnosis and the diagnostic

options in STEP 7.

Interrupt evaluation

To help you evaluate the interrupts of the ET 200S, we will examine the difference

between these and the interrupts of the S7/M7 DP master and other DP masters.
