B.1 Using the RESET Button
First
attempt to reset the module using the COM5434 Configurator
software before resetting the module with the RESET button. If resetting
the module using the COM5434 Configurator does not solve the problem,
make sure to check all connections, communication cables, and the
configuration of the FMS CP in the base using TISOFT
.
However
, if there is a serious hardware error
, the module resets due to a
signal from the watchdog timer
, encounters the same problem again, and
repeats the reset over and over
. If this occurs, call the Siemens T
echnical
Services Group for technical assistance. Y
ou may be advised to return the
module to the factory for repair
.
