Chapter 1 Introduction

PowerLogic™ ION™ Setup is a user friendly configuration tool that provides an

intuitive environment for setting up and verifying settings on PowerLogic meters

and other devices. Devices can be configured over communications links whether

they are locally or remotely located. Hard drive footprint and memory requirements

for ION Setup are minimal, so it is easy to install and use.

Typically, you can perform basic setup through the meter’s front panel or remote

display. ION Setup is mainly used for configuring advanced features of the meter,

or for setting up a meter that does not have a front panel or remote display.
