Adding and Configuring Devices ION Setup User Guide

Working in Network Mode

Unlike Single Device mode, Network mode allows you to add sites, groups and

multiple devices, and save your network configuration.

TIP

You can configure ION Setup to always open in Network configuration mode. See “Starting ION Setup”

on page 22 for more information.

To add network items, do one of the following:

 Click the Insert an Item button

 Select Insert > Item

 Right-click anywhere on the screen to display the shortcut menu, then click

Insert Item

The New Network Item dialog box appears. Select the item that you want to add.

Items that can be added include Sites, Groups and Meters. Select where you want

to attach the new item in the “Attach To” list and click OK.

TIP

Right-click a specific item on the left pane that you want to add items to, and select Insert Item to

automatically set the “Attach To” option.
