10.5.7 Service configuration

1. Open the unit’s home page. See Section 7.4 Accessing the unit’s home page.

2. In the Configuration menu, select the menu option Camera and the Service

suboption.

Î The Service dialog will appear:

3. Enter the desired settings in this dialog.

IMPORTANT

Cover the lens before using the pixel error compensation (blemish)

function.

Failing to do so may cause errors with the IP camera.

Blemish If the lens is covered a test can be made for defective pixels.

Click the Detect button.

The presence of defective pixels will be checked and corresponding

compensation configured.

CAUTION

The factory defaults function will reset the IP camera to its

configuration on delivery.

Factory defaults Click the Restore button.

Î The following confirmation message will be displayed:

Are you sure you want to restore the factory settings of the IP

camera?

Back focus The following options for flange focal length (back focus) are available:

z ON

The lens aperture is opened completely and the shutter speed set

temporarily to AUTO to facilitate configuration.

z OFF

The function is deactivated.
