10.5.5 Entering and positioning the ID text

1. Open the unit’s home page. See Section 7.4 Accessing the unit’s home page.

2. In the Configuration menu, select the menu option Camera and the ID Text

suboption.

Î The ID Text dialog will appear.

Text Enter a text here.

The text appears in the browser display and on devices hooked up to

the analog video output on the IP camera.

This text is always visible - not just with an alarm. See

Section 10.5.7 Service configuration.

z Text length

Max. 20 characters

z Allowed characters

Use only the following characters:

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

0123456789 : < > - . , ; * / SPACE

NOTE

Lower case letters are converted to upper case.

Any unpermitted characters are replaced by a period.

Horizontal position

Vertical position

Determine the position of the text by specifying the horizontal and

vertical position on the live image.

3. Click Save.
