7.5.1 PTZ control

The PTZ operating panel enables a pan/tilt drive with SCU protocol to be

controlled.

1. Click PTZ under the live image. See Section 10.9.1 Displaying live video.

Position number

The current pan/tilt position is shown here. The position number can be set using the keypad

(9) or with the + / - keys (2).

Select SIMATRIX input

The + / - keys can be used to link the desired video input of the cross bar to the Web server.

The maximum number of selectable inputs is 99

Two-digit position number

To input two-digit position numbers, click the ./.. button first.

Save position

The current pan/tilt position is stored under the selected position number (point 6). Up to 64

positions can be stored for the SIEMENS PTZ; the SIEMENS CCDA can store up to 55

positions.

Focus adjustment

The focus can be set here. The “∞” button sets the focus for distant objects; the “ο” button is

for focusing on objects that are close.

Pan/tilt control

The arrow keys are used to control the pan/tilt head. To do this, the video input (Live Player

button #5) to which the IP camera is connected must be linked.

Please note the following for using SIEMENS CCDA:

SIEMENS CCDA does not support the diagonal control buttons.

Zoom

The +/- buttons can be used to control zoom lenses.
