Starting MOVITOOLS® with the MoviLinkSwitcher tool

Configuration and Start of MOVITOOLS®

• Highlight the communication connection you need (here:Sample S7 station) and use

the "Set parameter for future started programs" button to set the communication

channel "S7 MPI" for all MOVITOOLS

applications started at a later time.

• The "Start Movitools-Manager" button became active after you redirected

MOVITOOLS

to the MPI in the previous step. You can start the "MOVITOOLS

Manager" directly.

You can access the drives in the usual way in the MOVITOOLS

Manager. All address

information does now correspond to the PROFIBUS addresses of the drives (→ follow-

ing figure).
