4 Configuration and Start of MOVITOOLS

4.1 Configuration of the PG / PC interface

You will first have to configure the PG / PC interface to establish a communication link

between PG / PC and the SIMATIC S7. This step requires installation of the following

Siemens software:

• SIMATIC Net PRODAVE MPI as of V5.5

• For remote maintenance also: Siemens Teleservice as of V5.1

The configuration program is located in the Start menu at:

[Settings] / [Control panel] / [PG/PC interface settings]

Configure the interface according to the system environment.
