6.5 Installation of the extension HDD in

SISTORE AX8/AX16 500/200 V3.6

These instructions describe the installation of a HDD unit into the housing of a

Digital Video Recorder of type SISTORE AX16 500/200. When installing a HDD

unit in AX8 500/200 proceed in the same manner.

1. First shutdown the device and

disconnect from the power supply.

2. Remove the eleven screws on both

sides and at the rear of SISTORE AX.

See picture.

3. Lift up the housing cover at the rear of

the SISTORE AX, and lift it off.

4. In general, there are two possible ways

of expanding SISTORE AX:

– By integrating an additional hard disk

in the frame of the primary HDD

AND / OR

– By installing the hard disk unit

underneath the CD/DVD drive.

NOTE

It is recommended to integrate the first additional hard disk into the frame of the primary HDD.
