Installation Activities
Installation Activities
Complete the following activities to install the XMU+:
1. If required, install the XMU+ in a rack or on a wall.
See To install an XMU+ in a rack on page 36 or To mount an XMU+ to a wall on
page 37 for more information.
2. Connect the XMU+ to its power supply. For the large chassis, could be to one or
both of the following power supplies:
AC power.
DC power.
See “Connecting the XMU+ to its Power Supply” in Chapter 2 of the XMU+
Installation Handbook for more information.
3. Check to ensure proper system startup. See Checking System Startup on page 38
for more information.
