highest quality. This ensures that with
every camera even the fine details of fast
moving objects are recognisable.
MPEG4 technology
The efficiency of MPEG4 compression
sets it as an excellent algorithm for storing
and transmitting video images. This
results in a higher storage capacity and
smaller bandwith requirements when
transmitting over a network.
Graphical user interface for intuitive
operation
The simple and logically arranged
graphical user interface allows easy
configuration and operation possible
without the need for training.
Transmission via LAN /xDSL /PSTN
and ISDN
The live cameras and recorded images
can be transmitted via LAN, xDSL, PSTN
or ISDN.
Viewing and searching using RAS
software incl. site plan functionality
Images can then be viewed and retrieved
from one or more remote workstations
via the included license-free remote ad-
ministration system (RAS software). Due
to the integrated site plan functionality
the operator keeps the overview of the
monitored area at any time. The site plan
shows the real object with the positioned
cameras and allows to connect easily to a
certain camera.
PTZ control for dome cameras
and PTZ units
All SISTORE AX units have front panel
keys for controlling both dome and PTZ
cameras including the setting and recall-
ing of presets. Also a connected keyboard
can be used to control the unit.

video software or to the SiPass access
control systems from Siemens.
Full flexibility for operating and
controlling the unit
The SISTORE AX has a convenient front
panel keyboard for control directly on the
unit. In addition, the unit can be operated
with the CKA4820 keyboard, an infrared
remote control and the RAS software via
the network, giving you complete flexi-
bility for use.
Triplex operation
SISTORE AX is a “triplex” system – a system
that enables the user to record, view live
images and replay previously recorded
video at the same time.
Numerous archiving options
The SISTORE AX can archive data not only
with its integrated hard drive and DVD
recording drive, but also using external
devices. USB memory sticks or an external
hard drive can be used for storage,
offering true flexibility.

The new lean model SISTORE AX4 Lite is
designed for easy, smaller applications
and allows the recording of up to 4 cam-
eras.
