2.2 Configuration

Downloading configuration data

It is possible to download the configuration data to the CP via MPI or

LAN/Industrial Ethernet. Addressing for the first time is possible only over the

PROFINET interface of the CP. The following version of STEP 7 is required:

Project engineering for PROFINET CBA

To be able to work in the PROFINET CBA environment, you require the SIMATIC

iMap engineering tool.

SIMATIC iMap requires a connection over Industrial Ethernet (TCP/IP protocol).
