Voice dialling

About voice dialling

Your XELIBRI uses state of the art voice recognition,

enabling you to

• dictate a telephone number (your XELIBRI recognises

most accents)

• speak the name of a Phonebook entry you have

previously recorded.

Voice dialling a number

To call a number

From standby, hold down .

At the tone, say “Number”.

At the second tone, dictate the telephone number as you

would to a person. Pause between groups of digits; your

XELIBRI updates the display and shows “Speak number”

when you can continue.

When the number is correct, say “Dial” (or “Dial

number”).

To correct a number

To delete the last group of digits, say “Clear” or hold .

Click  to delete last digit.

To cancel dialling

Say “Cancel”.

Voice dialling from the Phonebook

To save numbers and voice samples in the Phonebook,

see p 14.

To call someone in your Phonebook

Hold down  and at the tone say the name.

Your XELIBRI repeats the entry you have selected,

displays it on screen and makes the call.

To cancel the call, click .
