A sine-wave filter limits the voltage gradient and the
capacitive re-charging currents that generally occur at
the motor terminals for inverter operation.
The sine-wave filter at the inverter output supplies almost
sinusoidal voltage at the motor. As a consequence,
standard motors without special cable can be used.
• Operation permissible at pulse frequencies of 4 kHz
up to 8 kHz (sine-wave filter from 160 kW and higher,
only for 4 kHz)
• A power reduction (derating) of 5 % must be taken
into consideration when selecting a suitable inverter
• The output frequency is limited to 150 Hz
